Shipping and delivery conditions

We manufacture our products to order and ship them via the postal service or other carriers available during the purchase process. Before paying you can check the admitted destinations, the selected service, its price and the delivery information.

1. What each period means

  • Preparation and dispatch: time from receipt of the order and its payment until we physically hand over the parcel to the postal service or carrier. Creating a label or pre-registering the shipment does not mean it has already been dispatched.
  • Postal transit: time taken by the carrier from receiving the parcel to delivering it to the recipient.
  • Delivery to the customer: material receipt of the order by the customer or by a designated third party, other than the carrier.

2. Preparation and dispatch period

Unless a specific period is disclosed and agreed before purchase, we will dispatch the order within a maximum of 2 working days, counted from the working day following receipt of the order and its payment.

For these purposes, working days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays at the place of manufacture and dispatch. For example, an order paid for on a Friday will be dispatched no later than the following Tuesday if Monday and Tuesday are working days.

If an incident arises preventing us from meeting this commitment, we will inform the customer and offer the appropriate solutions, without unilaterally extending their deadlines.

3. Transit time and delivery commitment

As a general guide, standard postal transit is 2 to 10 working days from dispatch. The specific estimate depends on the destination and the service shown before payment.

Preparation days are added to postal transit. The 2-working-day dispatch period does not mean the order will reach the address within that time.

Unless another period is expressly agreed before contracting, we will deliver the order without undue delay and within a maximum of 30 calendar days from the conclusion of the contract. If a more specific delivery date or period has been agreed, we will honour that commitment.

Transport may be affected by public holidays at the destination, customs checks or carrier incidents. Although these processes are not under our direct operational control, we will manage the incident and maintain our obligations to the customer. They do not constitute a general exemption from liability.

4. Costs and shipping methods

The price of the initial shipment is calculated and shown before confirming the purchase. It includes logistical preparation, packaging and transport of the order according to the selected service. It may vary by destination, weight or method.

For tracked services, we will provide the tracking number or link when the order is dispatched. If an untracked method is offered, it will be clearly identified before payment. Choosing a postal method we offer, even if untracked, does not by itself transfer the risk of loss to the customer.

Where the destination requires import procedures, before purchase we will inform you of any taxes, duties or customs clearance charges payable by the recipient, whether they are included or, if they cannot be calculated in advance, of the possibility that they may be charged. The seller's own tax obligations will be respected.

5. Tracking and receipt

The customer must provide a correct and sufficiently complete address, together with the contact details needed for delivery. If they notice an error, they must report it as soon as possible so that we can check whether it can still be corrected.

Tracking allows the parcel's movements to be checked, but does not replace investigating an incident. If it shows "delivered" and you have not received it, contact us so that we can check the proof of delivery and its circumstances.

The risk of loss or damage remains with the seller until material receipt by the customer or their designated third party, except for the legal exception of transport independently contracted by the consumer with a carrier not offered by us. Choosing the postal service or another method offered in our shop is not that exception.

6. Absence and collection at a post office

If the carrier cannot make the delivery, it may leave the parcel at a post office or collection point and notify the location and the collection period via the service's own channels. The customer must cooperate with receipt and collect the parcel within the duly notified period, provided they have had a genuine opportunity to do so.

If you do not receive a notice, the information is incorrect, or you cannot locate the shipment, contact us as soon as possible. We will check what happened with the carrier. A "ready for collection" status does not equate to material receipt and does not prevent a claim over an incident.

7. Return to the workshop and reshipment

When a parcel is returned due to non-collection, we will check the cause and notify the customer. If the return is attributable to the customer and they wish to receive the order again, they may request reshipment for a total of €5, payable before the new dispatch. If the incident is attributable to us or to the carrier we contracted, this amount will not be charged to resolve it.

The initial free storage period will be 30 calendar days from receipt at our workshop. If we give notice after receiving the parcel, we will extend the period so that at least 30 calendar days exist from that communication. A request or claim received within the period will be handled while keeping the products until it is resolved.

Non-collection does not by itself constitute a withdrawal, nor does the passing of 30 days automatically mean abandonment or authorise destruction. The final-notice procedure, storage and legal disposal of the goods are detailed in the returns policy.

8. Delays, loss and claims

You can report an incident as soon as you notice it. If the delivery estimate has passed or tracking shows a problem, write to us at hello@vintagestickerfactory.com with the order number.

You are not required to wait 20 calendar days to file a claim. The carrier's investigation periods do not limit the consumer's rights or the claim mechanisms of their payment method.

If we fail to meet the applicable delivery period, the customer may require delivery within a suitable additional period and, if this is also not met, terminate the contract and obtain the corresponding refund. Where the law allows, they may terminate immediately, in particular if we refuse to deliver or fail to meet an essential date agreed before purchase.

In the event of loss or damage before receipt, we will provide the legally applicable solution, including a new delivery at no cost or a refund where appropriate. These rights are maintained for made-to-order products.
